golf course. Formerly the "Twain Harte's Bed &
Breakfast", this large, "Cabin-style"
home has been recently remodeled and now features:

beds, four with full, private baths

Twain
Harte has a long history as a popular mountain village
resort and lies in the heart of an area abundant in
natural beauty and outdoor recreation. Numerous mountain
lakes, rivers, forests and wilderness trails provide
excellent fishing, hunting and exploring opportunities.
Pine Crest Lake, Lake Don Pedro and New Melones offer
vast areas for swimming boating and fishing. Lakes Don
Pedro and New Melones also offer water skiing.
Winter
sports enthusiast will enjoy the fine facilities at
Dodge Ridge Ski Resort. Twain Harte is 20 miles from
Dodge Ridge, 85 miles from Yosemite and a half hour
above the historic Mother Lode Gold Country towns of
Sonora, Columbia and Jamestown. The area offers fascinating
Gold Rush history, antique stores, fine shops and boutiques,
superb dining, three excellent repertory theaters. It
is ideally situated for both vacationers and weekend
visitors.
